Understanding the Times - Secular Humanist Theology
Humanism is the idea that there is no gods or anything supernatural that exists, so man must take care of itself while on earth because humanism rejects the idea of life after death. To Humanists, the myth of religion has been disproved by modern science and technology that can decipher geological and other clues from the past and tell a far different story than what has been told by the Bible and other records, written or otherwise. Part of the Humanist thought pattern accepts the fact that Humanism itself is a kind of religion, but without any belief in the supernatural, and they distinguish between the two ideas.
