Final Agape Lunch of the Year! Tuesday May 22

Come one, Come all, to the Final Agape Lunch of the Year! Hamburgers, hot dogs - a real picnic it will be. We are inviting back any and all of our Alumni, to help celebrate our theme for this luncheon: Life after Jesse Remington. We are excited to have Bethany Loraditch Banakos ('05) sharing with us. 12:15 start time, and you're on your way by 1:15. Our Choir will be making their final preparations for the ACSI Music Festival, and Alumni will be sharing some testimonies about their growth and life after graduation. RSVP to the school office.

Mission Celebration Night of Giving

On Friday evening, May 4, nearly 100 friends and supporters of JRHS gathered at the Evergreen Pavilion at Candia Woods for the annual Mission Celebration, night of Giving. Our theme for the evening was “an instrument of noble purposes” taken from 2 Timothy. Each speaker used this theme, to show how God is using JRHS to prepare students for the life God has ordained for them, and to be made holy, ready to do good work.

We were blessed to have Seth Caron (00) as our emcee, and Emily Shattuck (04) and Jenna Tannian Sosa as our Alumni testimonial speakers. The students did an excellent job singing two pieces they will be competing with later this month.

Headmaster Jeff Philbrick spoke the vision of JRHS as never before, this time using golf to build an analogy! Institutional Advancement member Steve Whitcomb, and a father of two JRHS Alumni, did the important work of laying out the short and long term financial needs and goals of JRHS. To present, we are pleased to announce that nearly $20,000 has come in to the Annual Fund, and we have signed on 9 new members into the Sentinel Society, those folks committed to regular giving to JRHS.
